The next big thing

Today I ate the best waffle I've ever had in my life.

I know you are thinking "meh… waffles are waffles. Stop exaggerating again, Alice."  YOU ARE WRONG. These waffles are so amazing; I think I ate at least six of them during our class today. I am telling you right now to invest in my chef, because when he opens his waffle restaurant in the States, waffles will become the new cupcake. You heard it here first.



They had a really good batter, very sweet and brioche-y. The piece de resistance, though, was that there was melty but crispy sugar in the middle of the waffle.
