These are some amazing tips! I will use them all, especially the suggestions to buy wine in bulk and enter children in beauty pageants. I don’t have children myself, but I’m sure I can find some to borrow.
My dad, on the other hand, is on cookie probation for a month for suggesting that I give up coffee. Everyone who encounters me before 2pm begs you to reconsider.
As a side note, I started using www.mint.com when I began school, and I’ve found it very helpful at finding my money vampires. (Ahem, Anthropologie…. a-HEM, artisanal cheeses). I’d agree with several commenters and recommend this for anyone who is trying to keep track of spending or set up a budget.
